Take a break from city life and enjoy your weekend in an area of outstanding natural beauty.  Sign up for the weekend programmes at Ma'Daerah Turtle Sanctuary Centre in Kemaman Terengganu for a minimum of RM 250.00 per adult and RM 150.00 per child (minimum age 6 years old & Maximum age 12 years old)

Research has indicated that only ONE out of 10,000 hatchings will survive to reach adulthood.  To ensure they continue to be part of Malaysia' natural heritage for generation to come, much more needs to be done to increase their changes of survival.  One way is to collect more turtle eggs and transfer to a hatchery.  This is a very costly affair and the Department of Fisheries Malaysia is seeking your support and contribution for the ongoing turtle management and conservation efforts in Ma'Daerah.

your generous contribution will be used to fund our ongoing turtle management and conservation efforts in Ma'Daerah.  One turtle adoption costs RM150.00 while one nest adoption costs RM100.00.  Each 'parent' will be receiving the followings:

  • Turtle or Nest adoption certificate
  • Information about turtle or nest
  • A specially designed Ma'Daerah Turtle Sanctuary t-shirt
  • Photo of the turtle or nest
  • Tax-exemption receipt

Ma'Daerah Turtle Conservation Trust Fund would also be grateful for donation of any amount to help fund turtle management and conservation efforts at Ma'daerah Turtle Sanctuary Centre.
